I refer to my colorful acrylic paintings on hand stretched canvas as visual

meditations. The concentric circles are inspired by the zen design of

Japanese gardens and the subtly shifting colors take inspiration from the ever

changing sky and the interplay of light across colorful landscapes. Due to

nuanced tonal shifts, the colors vibrate on the canvas and remind the viewer

to slow down, take a breath and embrace a beautiful moment encapsulated

in color and minimal design. I began this body of work in my living room

studio soon after the birth of my daughter in 2021. Her life has inspired me to

wholeheartedly follow my dreams of showing my art to the world.
